Go to the Contract & Project Details page, then click on ‘Details’ next to the project
At top, click on the button to ‘Change Line Numbers'
Click on ‘Resequence Line Numbers'. The item line numbers will be changed in order of bid type (ie base/alt), category, and item number.
If you add a line number in the middle of the list and want to automatically renumber everything after that line number, you will want to use the option to ‘deduplicate' line numbers, or remove the duplicate line number.
Remove Duplicate Line Numbers
