Sub-applications that are tied to a permit application (example: inspections for a building permit, or single trips tied to an annual moving permit), can optionally be setup to show the status, by icon, of the most recent status on the main permit application dashboard. This is particularly helpful to see Open, Pass, and Fail icons, or Submitted versus Approved.

Overview:

  1. Create your Sub-App Status Flow

  2. Assign Icons to Each Individual Status

  3. Set Icon Priority and Behavior

  4. Set Sub-App Setting to Show Status Icon (Not Record Count)

  2. Be sure to set your Rules to move from one status to the next, automatically

Assign Icons to Each Individual Status:

  1. After you have your App Status Setup completed, click App Statuses to view the list

  2. Click Modify next to the App Status

  3. Select an Icon, or leave blank to allow for the default icon to be used as noted below the icon list

Set Icon Priority and Behavior:

  1. After setting the App Status Icon, you have the option to set the priorities and behaviors of the icons

  3. You should now see the icons in the main permit dashboard next to the main permit’s status

  4. Click Save & Exit
