Approval Notifications

These notifications are dependent on the approval levels for an application. If a notification is set to send at the 1st approval level, the notification is sent as soon as the application is submitted. Once the 1st approval level is signed, the application is automatically moved to level 2 and any notifications for level 2 are sent.

NOTE: If default notifications are enabled, those notifications follow the approval levels. Adding a notification for a specific approval level on an application will disable the default notification.

  2. Click “App Groups” in the “General” section near the top of the page

  3. Click “Manage” next to the App. Group for the permit you want to make a notification for

Status Notifications

These notifications are based on the statuses that are available for an application. Depending on how the statuses are set up, there can be some overlap with the Approval Notifications. For all other triggers, there is no default email. For the triggers that already have a default notification, the only reason you would need to set up a notification in this section is if you want the notification to be different than the default or if you want a notification to be sent to an employee as well.
