Create and View RFIs and Submittals

RFIs and Submittals can be added through ConneX for any awarded contracts.

To submit a RFI or Submittal:

  1. Log into ConneX and click on the icon for ‘Awarded Contracts’.

  2. Click on ‘Details’ next to the contract for which the RFI or Submittal needs to be created.

  3. Under the Correspondence section, click on the + button next to the Submittal or RFI.

  4. Fill out the submittal or RFI form - required fields are marked with an asterisk.

  5. Click on ‘Save’. This will prompt a notification to be sent to the project owner responders for review and/or response.

  6. Messages can be added as well after the RFI or submittal is created. A log of all RFIs and Submittals are available in ConneX.

If the submittal type requires an organization selection, the organization options will only show a limited list of those who have been added or approved as subcontractors on the contract.

When submitting a request to subcontract, if the organization is not available in the drop-down selection options, a new organization can be manually entered.
