Decommission the Virtual Appliance (eGram)

If you are no longer running any of RTVision’s applications on your Linux eGram server this guide is for you.

  1. Remove all DNS records pointing to your server’s IP address(es)

  2. Remove all firewall rules associated with your server’s IP address(es)

  3. If your server is virtual:

    1. Delete the virtual machine and it’s associated disk

    2. The NFS share is no longer needed. You can backup the files then take the share offline
