Creating Views

  1. In Administration, select ‘Export View’s tab in the Admin Util section.

  2. Click on ‘Add’

    1. Setup - choose App Type and select the export view type

    2. can skip over Name & Feeder Views steps

    3. Pick Builtin Values - click green Add Default List

    4. Pick Permit Fields - click green Add all used

      1. (unless see a lot of red/disabled fields, and don’t want those, then do ‘Add all used excluding disabled’)

    5. Pick More Values - click View Records - if it doesn’t say No Records, and you see something worth exporting - click green button

    6. can skip over X steps added for each fields

    7. Field Object ID to Name - review data on this step - Object ID will appear as column headers in CSV - you may want to use this to translate to more user friendly names

    8. SQL - can press green Test button to get result for a particular app (last by default)

    9. can skip over Custom View & Dataset steps

    10. Report - click link under CSV Download

    11. when prompted, save the CSV file
