Move an invoice to a new department
You can move an invoice to a different or new department in two different ways, depending upon the reason for moving the invoice to a new department.
To move an invoice to a new department because it was sent to the wrong department or you would like to add account codes for multiple departments:
Click on the Department dropdown menu on the left side of the invoice form. This will then list that invoice under the selected department dashboard and will allow for account codes to be selected from the selected department.
To move an invoice to another department for approval, after the current department has approved the invoice:
Fill out the invoice form and route for approvals within the selected/current department
Select the next department to route the invoice to, AFTER the current department approval process has been completed.
Once the approval workflow process for the current department has been completed, the invoice will be moved to the next departments dashboard and can be setup with account codes and routed for approval within that department.
