Adding Signature Lines to a Document Template

To add additional signature lines to the document template it will need to be edited and the additional field codes added.

To Add Field Codes for the Signer/Approver’s Name:

  1. Select ‘Approvers’ and enter the approval number in the field lookup. This is for the order of signatures. (ie first approver will have a '1' entered in the field lookup.)

  2. Then select ‘Approver’ from the table selection.

 

3. Click on the ‘+' to add to the document.

4. Select 'First Name’ then click on the '+’ to add to the document.

5. Select ‘Last Name’ and then click on the '+' to add to the document.

 

 

To Add a Field Code for the Signature Date:

  1. Select ‘Approvers’ (or select breadcrumbs to get back to this step).

  2. In the Field drop-down, select ‘Obtained’.

  3. For the Date Format, entering ‘LL/dd/yyyy’ will then only show the month, day, and year for the signature, and leave out the time. Other options can be entered using the link in the instructions.

  4. Enter the approval step number in the field lookup.

  5. Last, click on '+' to add the field to the document.
