Changing the banner on the home screen and dashboards

The default banner image that is shown on the home screen and dashboards can be changed to be customized by the agency.

Please note, the default banner is 2246x1146 so something similar or close to a 2:1 aspect ratio will work best.

Instructions

1. Go to Administration and select Records

2. Select ‘Core’ under Zones and ‘Logo’ under the Tables

3. Click on the green Add+ button

4. Select ‘Banner’ and then upload the photo/image file

5. Click on Save

6. This will bring you back to the admin table - click ‘Edit’ next to the record for ‘Banner’ (the record you just added)

7. You should see a view similar to below

   2. Make sure to open the image to where you can see the full view.

8. Right click on the thumbnail to open in a new tab. Copy the URL information, excluding the Site name and ‘?thumbnail’. Example: https://demo-mn-1.app.rtvision.com/api/table/core/c-banner/1/file/T5H_7_dg4sdpEBkV7kLFqT1TamNCLueQOxDjwkGQDRM3zs4xfRH268t_xp89Iz6u?thumbnail

9. Navigate back to the Admin menu and select ‘Settings’

10. Expand the “Application Settings” header and find “Banner Image Path”

    1. Open

       

11. Paste the path URL from step 6 and update or save the path
