Password Change Requirements and Warnings

Each agency can determine the frequency in which employee passwords must be reset.

 

To setup password change requirements:

  1. Go to Administration and select Settings.

  2. Click on the ‘Security Settings’ section to expand.

  3. Click on Edit next to ‘password-expire’ and enter the number of days in which your agency will require employee passwords to be reset.

  4. Click on Change Value to save.

 

To warn employees that his/her password will soon expire:

  1. Go to Administration and select Settings.

  2. Click on the ‘Security Settings’ section to expand.

  3. Click on Edit next to ‘password-expire-warn’ and enter the number of days prior to expiration that employees will be notified of an upcoming password expiration.

  4. Click on Change Value to save.
