Integration with Trimble SiteVision/Trimble Connect for Item Quantity Measurements

When adding a transaction, site measurements can be pulled in from your device or from a Trimble SiteVision device. In order to pull in data from Trimble, your SiteVision device needs to have sync’d data with Trimble Connect.

 

To add the integration functionality to your OneOffice site:

  1. Go to Admin and select Packages.

  2. In the search, type in ‘Trimble’.

  3. Click on add next to the package

To link the OneOffice contract with your Trimble project:

  1. In the Contract Menu, click on ‘Contract and Project Details’.

  2. Select the button for ‘Select Trimble Project’ in the upper right corner. If you are not currently logged into Trimble Connect, you will be prompted to login.

  3. Select from a list of Trimble projects available in Trimble Connect to link the current contract with the Trimble project.

  4. Click on ‘Confirm’.

 

To pull in measurements from Trimble Connect:

  1. In the Contract menu select the ‘Item Record Account’ tab.

  2. Select an Item to create a Transaction for.

    1. If there are multiple project in the contract, the ‘All Projects’ drop-down will include each project to limit the item table to only items for the project.

  3. Select ‘Transactions’.

  4. Select the ‘Add Transaction’ button.

  5. Enter the Date, Quantity, and Funding split for the item.

    1. If the funding split field does not show any funding splits as an option, item funding may not be setup.

    2. Click the ‘Multiple Funding Splits’ checkbox to enter several transactions in a single entry, each with a different quantity for each funding split.

    3. Click on the formula icon (fx) next to quantity to use a formula entry to calculate the quantity. Currently includes formulas for SQ FT, SQ YD, and CU YD.

      1. If you do not see the formula icon next to an item, link the formula to the unit of measurement.

    4. Click on the ‘point to point’ or measurement icon.

    5. Select the button to ‘Use Device Location’, or ‘Use Location from Trimble’. (You will be prompted to login and authenticate with Trimble Connect in order to access the Trimble Connect project list.)

    6. Select one or multiple measurements to pull in from Trimble Connect.

  6. Select ‘Add Transaction’ to save.

  7. The ‘Quantities’ and ‘Funding’ tables will now update to included the added transaction and the measurement locations tied to the transaction will be recorded for future viewing.

  8. To add this transaction to a payment select the '+' button next to the transaction. If the payment is not currently open, this transaction will be auto added to the payment on creation.
