Employee: Change/Delete a Request

To change a ‘Request for Time’ all approvals, supervisors, and employees, must be removed. Also, note that before the supervisor signs, the employee can delete their own signature and the request.

Delete a Request:

  1. If a supervisor has already approved the request they would need to remove their approval first, after that is complete follow the steps below:

  2. On the left-hand side, enter a reason for the removal.

  3. Then Delete the Approval.

  4. Remove an individual entry:

    1. Click ‘Edit’ on the entry.

    2. Scroll to the bottom of the form on the left side of the screen and select ‘Delete’.

    3. Do this for each individual entry.

  5. Delete Entire Request:

    1. Click on the red ‘Delete Request for Time’ button on the lower left of the timesheet.

Edit a Request:

  1. Remove all approvals.

  2. Click ‘Edit’ on the entry and make any necessary changes.

  3. After the changes have been saved click ‘Approve’ to approve the time again and send it back to the supervisor.

You can have multiple requests for the same pay period. For Example:

Original Request for PTO Monday and Tuesday was fully approved by your supervisor. Later you decide you need to take Thursday of the same Pay Period off. You do not need to have your supervisor unapprove the original request, you can simply create a new one.

  1. From the Timesheet, click the ‘Select Function' drop-down menu and choose 'Request for Time’.

  2. Choose the pay period you want the request to be for.

  3. By default, it will show your current request, click the Request for Time drop box located below the left-hand side of the timesheet and choose NEW.

  4. Create and approve your request like normal.
