Disable Employees

Employees can be disabled from logging in, accessing timesheets, and reports.

If the historical costs related to the employee still need to be viewable. Leave ‘Show in Asset Management’ set to ‘Yes’.

Completely Disable an Employee:

  1. While in ‘Administration’ select the ‘User Accounts’ tab.

  2. Find and select ‘Modify’ next to the employee.

  3. Set the ‘Show in Asset Management’ field to ‘No’, this will no longer display the employee on Reports. This step is only necessary if ‘Asset Management’ is enabled; otherwise, this option will not show)

  4. Set ‘Show in Timecard’ to ‘No’, this will no longer display the employee on the timesheet.

  5. Click ‘Save & Refresh’.

  6. To disable the employee login select the red ‘Disable’ button.

  7. Click ‘Save & Exit’.

Disable Employee Login ONLY:

  1. While in ‘Administration’ select the ‘User Accounts’ tab.

  2. Scroll to the employee and click ‘Disable’.

Disable Employee Timesheet ONLY:

Disabling the Employee Timesheet can be used for employees that need access to the application, but will not be tracking their time.

  1. While in ‘Administration’ select the ‘User Accounts’ tab.

  2. Find and select ‘Modify’ next to the employee.

  3. Set ‘Show in Timecard’ to ‘No’, this will no longer display the employee on the timesheet.

  4. Click ‘Save & Exit’.

Disable Employee from Reports ONLY:

Only Customers with Asset Management enabled will have the Show in Asset Management option.

  1. While in ‘Administration’ select the ‘User Accounts’ tab.

  2. Find and select ‘Modify’ next to the employee.

  3. Set the ‘Show in Asset Management’ field to ‘No’, this will no longer display the employee on Reports.

  4. Click ‘Save & Exit’.
