Add Composite Inventory
Composite inventory allows agencies to set up inventory that is tied to other inventory pieces. For example, if a sign is selected, and specific add-on inventory like a post should always be used, the sign can be added with composite inventory added. This allows the user to only select the primary piece of inventory and all add-on inventory automatically prefills or populates to the time entry form.
While in ‘Administration’ select ‘System Settings’.
Find and select ‘Modify’ next to the COMPOSITE_INVENTORY field.
Change the ‘Current Value' to ‘Yes’ to enable the field.
Next, select the ‘Inventory' tab.
‘Add’ or ‘Modify’ inventory entries to include add-on or composite inventory.
The ‘Inventory Name’ will be the primary inventory item that the user will need to select in order for the composite inventory to autofill the time entry form.
The same piece of inventory may show with and without composite inventory.
Click a checkbox next to the composite inventory to tie to the main piece of inventory
Select Yes, if the quantity should be set manually or No if the composite inventory will be automatically set to the same quantity as the main piece of inventory.
