User Defined Time Off Reports
Add the Time Off Type
- Click on the Time Off Types tab
- Click Add Time Off Type
- Enter a name for the Time Off Type in the Time Off Type Name field
- This will be the column name on the Time Off Report, name it so employees will recognize it
- Select Yes from the Show on Time Off Report dropdown.
- This will ensure the Time Off Type is display this Time Off Type column on the report
- Enter a name for the Time Off Type in the Time Off Type Name field
NOTE: If the Time Off Type already exists, just make sure the setting to Show on Time Off Report is set to yes if you want it to display. If the Time Off type is linked to a 'Time Off Report Type', then that Time Off Type data will show under the linked 'Time Off Report Type' so it should not be setup to also show on the time off report.
Add the Labor Code
- Click on the Labor Codes tab
- To add a new Labor Code, click Add Labor Code
- Link this labor code to the new Time Off Type
NOTE: If the labor code already exists, modify the labor code and link it to the new time off type.
Add the Accounting Code
- Click on the Accounting Codes tab
- Add a new Accounting Code
- Link the Accounting Code to the new Time Off Type
NOTE: If the Accounting Code already exists, modify the Accounting Code and link it to the new Time Off Type.
Add the Activity Overhead Code
- Click on the Activity Overhead Codes tab
- Add a new Activity Overhead Code
- Link the new Activity Overhead Code to the Accounting Code and Labor Code for the new Time Off Type
NOTE: If the Activity Overhead Code already exists, you should not need to change anything here unless you changed the Labor Code or Accounting Code.
Add Balances
- Click on the Time Off tab
- Click Add Time Off Starting Balance
- Choose the Employee and fill in the form
- Check all Time Off Types that you wish to add a balance for
- Enter a balance to the checked Time Off Types in the list
Add Earnings
- Click on the Time Off tab
- Click Add Time Off Earning
- Choose the Employee and fill in the form
- Check all Time Off Types that you wish to add an earnings amount for
- Enter the amount the employee should earn each pay period
