Prevent/Warn if Equipment Hours Exceed Labor Hours
Users can enter equipment usage that exceeds the number of labor hours on the timesheet unless the agency enables a feature to prevent or warn the user.
While in ‘Administration’ select the ‘System Settings’ tab.
Find the ‘EQUIPMENT_HOURS_CHECK' field and select 'Modify’.
This field is ‘Off’ by default but can be changed to ‘Warn’ or Prevent' the user from entering equipment hours that exceed labor hours on the entry.
‘Warning’ will provide a notice but will allow the employee to save the time entry.
‘Prevent’ will not allow the employee to save the time entry.
Both ‘Warning’ and ‘Prevent’ options have the ability to determine if the combined number of equipment hours should be used to warn/prevent, or if individual equipment hours should be used to determine if the user is warned/prevented.
