Automatically reorder your project line numbers to be in the order of base/alt, category, and item number, after entering items to your into the project item list.
Resequence Line Numbers:
Go to the Contract ‘Contract & Project Details Details’ page, then click on ‘Details’ next to the project
At the top, click on the button to ‘Change Line Numbers'.
Click on ‘Resequence Line Numbers'. The item line numbers will be changed in order of bid type (ie base/alt), category, and item number.
If you add a line number is added in the middle of the list and want to automatically renumber everything everything should be re-numbered after that line number, you will want to use the option to ‘deduplicate' line numbers, or remove the duplicate line numberthe ‘Deduplicate’ line number option will be used.
Remove Duplicate Line Numbers:
Go to the Contract ‘Contract & Project Details Details’ page, then click on ‘Details’ next to the project.
At the top, click on the button to ‘Change Line Numbers'.
Click on ‘Deduplicate Line Numbers'. The item line numbers will be changed in order of bid type (ie base/alt), category, and item number.
