Create numerous inspection types that will allow an inspector to see what inspections are required for a specific permit type. To setup:

Instructions

  1. Go to the Administration section and manage the specific permit type that will require inspections

  2. Click on ‘ADD’, then use the guided workflow to setup and configure the inspection type.

  3. If the inspection type tab (on the permit review page) should only show if the record exists, specify as such; or always show the inspection type tab you are creating

  4. Determine if you would like to show a status icon (which shows in the tabs at the top of the permit review page), if the inspection record has been closed/complete or is pending

  5. Add access control rights and fields available for that inspection type
