If a project owner bid key cannot be located after bid opening, the bid key will need to be rekeyedrecreated.  This also requires bidders to upload their private keys to complete the decryption process.

To do so:

  1.  Log into bidVAULT
  2. Go to User tab>>My Bids
  3. Click on 'Rekey' – upload bid key used

  1. Log into bidVAULT
  2. Go to 'User' tab>>My Bids
  3. Find the project under 'My Bids - Bidding Closed' and click on 'Re-key your bid' – the application will automatically find the encryption key saved to your browser.  If it does not, you will need to select the key file and upload to complete the rekey process.  Once all contractors have rekeyed (or uploaded their bid key), the project owner can then proceed with bid opening using the their new public key received in step 1.
