You may be prompted to allow IE and the Application to access your clipboard, you will need to say Yes/Allow for the report to export into Excel. (If you said no by mistake, see the trouble shooting section below to resolve the issue.)
Trouble Shooting:
Issue: 'Export to Excel' pastes whatever is in my clipboard to the Excel spreadsheet
Issue: When prompted to allow access to my clipboard, I said 'do not allow' by mistake
Resolution: Enable Security Settings for Script Access to the Clipboard in Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer
Click on the Settings wheel at the top right of your screen
Select Internet Options
Click on the Security tab
Click the button for Custom Level
Scroll down to the 'Scripting' section and Enable 'Allow Programmatic clipboard access'
Click OK on the corresponding windows until you are back in your application screen
**Note: You will need to reload the page for the setting to apply.**
Issue: I followed all instructions and it still does not work
Resolution: Contact your IT department, they may have rules in place preventing the settings from sticking.
