Add New Materials
Materials are inventory items that are purchased for a specific customer or project. They can be directly linked to the customer and/or project in Asset Management and do not export into Cost Accounting. The employee would only see the items allowed for that customer or project in the material selection dropdown.
Under the ‘Inventory Data’ grouping select the ‘Materials’ tab.
Select ‘Add Material’.
Enter in the Materials information: Material Number, Material Description etc.
Select any Group/Teams that this material would only be available for.
Select ‘Add this Material’ to save.
If a Unit of Measure that is needed is not currently provided when adding in new items. Additional Units of Measure can be added under the ‘Material Unit’s tab.
