Setup Holiday Hour Auto-Fill

Holidays can auto-fill employee timesheets and can be set up to auto-fill a specific number of hours, based upon the employee.

First Verify the setting is enabled:

  1. In ‘Administration’ click the ‘System Settings’ tab.

  2. Find the ‘Auto-Fill Holiday Hours' setting and set the ‘Current Value’ to 'Yes’ to enable the setting.

Next set up the Holiday:

  1. In ‘Administration’ click the ‘Holidays’ tab

  2. Select if the holiday should be set up for specific employees or specific groups by selecting ‘General Holidays’ or ‘Unit-specific Holidays’

  3. Next select ‘Add Holiday’ or click ‘Modify’ to edit an existing entry.

  4. Add the holiday name and the number of hours that the selected employees will see on their timeCard.

  5. Finally, select the employees (or Org. Units) this holiday applies to and save.

The same holiday may need to be added multiple times if there are employees who get a different number of holiday hours. For example, you may have New Year’s Day at 8 hours, New Year’s Day at 6.4 hours, and New Years Day at 4 hours.
