Consultant Access

Consultants or external parties can be set up with select read/write access to certain sections of OneOffice, for a specific contract. If the Consultant package is not currently installed an admin can do so following these instructions.

To Add a Consultant to a Contract:

  1. While in the Contract menu select the ‘Consultants’ tab.

  2. Select ‘Add’ to specify which organization should have access to this contract.

    1. ‘Do Estimate': Ability to edit the project item list or Engineer’s Estimate. Ability to update funding. Access to view reports, contract and project details, and funding information.

    2. ‘Do Bidding’: Ability to edit all pages within the Bidding menu, with the exception of the bidVAULT sync. Access to view funding, contract and project details, reports, and messages.

    3. ‘Do Inspection': Ability to edit the Inspections, Item Record Account, and Weekly Diary sections. Access to view the reports, funding, bidding, contract changes, payments, change in status/suspension of work, and contract and project details. Additionally, fuel escalation and Material Testing sections are also made available.

    4. ‘Do Contract Change’: Ability to edit the Contract Change page, including item funding setup. Access to view the reports, funding, bidding, inspections, item record account, weekly diary, payments, and contract and project details.

    5. ‘Do Payment’: Ability to edit the Payments page and view sections under the Payment Menu. Access to view the reports, funding, bidding, inspections, item record account, weekly diary, contract changes, and contract and project details.

  3. Click ‘Save’.

External access for consultants requires that they be setup on ConneX in order for the user(s) to utilize a ConneX login for access. If an organization is not currently available in the organization drop-down refer to the instructions here.

To Edit Consultant Permissions on a Contract:

  1. While in the Contract menu select the ‘Consultants’ tab.

  2. Select ‘Edit’ and add or remove additional roles.

  3. Click ‘Save’.

To Remove Consultant Access on a Contract:

  1. While in the Contract menu select the ‘Consultants’ tab.

  2. Select ‘Delete' next to the organization.

  3. Click ‘OK’ to confirm.
